Several communities around the state and the country participate during the warmer parts of the year in this event, which brings residents to their neighbors' front yards, lawns and stoops to enjoy live music.

Earlier in the spring, residents could sign up to perform in the festival or to host others via the Arlington Center for the Arts' Porchfest website

Attendees can expect a wide range of musical genres to be played throughout the day, with 91 Americana acts, 85 pop performances, 81 singer-songwriter shows and much more: see details below.

In addition, festivalgoers could expect to see artwork and some exhibitions from resident artists displayed on their porches. A list of households showcasing artwork is viewable here >>

The festival takes place outdoors so that residents can stroll through town to enjoy the music and sights.
